Hortilux brand acquired
Prohort Lighting Solutions B.V., our parent company, has acquired the Hortilux brand name, intellectual property and goodwill from the bankruptcy estate of Hortilux Schréder B.V..
Hortilux Schréder, a Dutch developer and supplier of lighting installations for greenhouse horticulture and vertical farming, was declared bankrupt in September 2026. The acquisition secures the legacy of Hortilux and unites it with Agrolux, bringing together two historic Dutch brands with a combined history of more than 80 years.
