Knowledge-sharing event for growers in Poland: LED lighting and climate optimization
We hosted a knowledge-sharing event for greenhouse growers in Łaszków, Poland. Organized together with our Polish agent, Jacek Niwiński, the event brought together 30 local growers for an evening of presentations, discussion, and networking.
Amongst the speakers was Ton Habraken of Ludvig Svensson, who shared his expertise on greenhouse climate management and the role of screens in greenhouse climate control. Our agronomist Gert-Jan Dekker did an in-depth session on the transition from HPS to full LED lighting, lighting fundamentals and energy management. The shared objective was to provide growers with practical insights to support more sustainable and profitable production.
During the evening, Commercial Director Huub Welles provided an update on the recent acquisition of the Hortilux brand. Strong interest was shown in our modular LYRA™ LED lighting platform and the Agrolux Operating System, reflecting the increasing demand for integrated horticultural technologies that help growers improve efficiency and performance.
In addition to the presentations, the event offered an opportunity for growers and industry professionals to exchange experiences, discuss challenges, and strengthen connections within he local horticultural community.
