What a week in Canada!
Our new owners (and CEO and CFO) Marc Salvany and Ad van der Vorst had the privilege of meeting many of our long-standing Agrolux customers in the Leamington area: growers who have trusted the brand for decades and who form the backbone of our presence in the region. Canada really is a key market for our Agrolux brand.
It was their first opportunity to introduce the new leadership and ownership of Gavita International b.v., and to openly discuss what truly matters for growers today: reliability, service, innovation, and a partner they can count on for the long term.
These conversations were honest, insightful, and exactly what we needed. They spoke about how to recover the legacy that once made Agrolux so successful, and how we are bringing it forward with a renewed strategy built on investment in technology, controls, and software, combined with a refreshed product portfolio designed specifically for long-term value.
One message we shared throughout the week is at the core of how we will operate moving forward:
“It’s not only about selling luminaires. It’s about building long-lasting partnerships. Luminaires are just one part of the equation: service, sustainability, future-proof products, and real value propositions are what truly make the difference for growers.”
Thanks to all the growers who welcomed our leadership, challenged them, and supported our vision. We are committed to earning that trust every day and to shaping the next chapter together.
In parallel, our systems engineering team was also on the ground visiting greenhouses, commissioning the systems sold this season, and training both customers and partners. A true team effort to strengthen our presence and support in the region.
